Having grown up in a single-mother home and building a profession that continues to be chosen primarily by men, especially at higher levels, I am devoted to promoting awareness among young girls and women that the SKY is the limit for accomplishment, achievement and success and that although life comes with a lot of changes, those changes should be embraced as opportunities and not as obstacles or sacrifices.  I seek to promote such awareness first by example, and secondly, by supporting organizations that have similar missions.

Girl Scouts was such a large part of my early life and taught me so much; I am very excited about having the opportunity to give back as Board President.  Together, I look forward to embracing our mission, leading by example and embracing change so that we can reach more young women.
