Girl Scouts has four Program Goals that provide direction for the Girl Scout program, which is adapted to meet the developmental, educational, emotional and social needs and interests of girls at different age levels.
The age levels are:
Girl Scout Daisy (K-1st grade or 5-6 years old)
Girl Scout Brownie (1st-3rd grade or 6-8 years old)
Girl Scout Junior (3rd-6th grade or 8-11 years old)
In addition to the Petals (Daisy Girl Scouts), Try-Its (Brownies) and Badges (Juniors) that you might earn on your own or with your troop, there are numerous program activities in the FYI Troop Planner for you to consider.
- Community Service activities are available for every girl in our council to help you give back to others and truly be a sister to every Girl Scout
- Patch Programs, Religious Recognitions and Challenge Courses are other activities you can do to enhance your Girl Scout experience.
- Are you interested in Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) - do you wonder how things work? Bridging the Gap and STEM activities programs might be just what you're looking for.
- Are you coming to visit the POD Village? Think about reserving a Toteable Topic or participating in a Professor Buzz program during your visit.
- Girl Scouts of the USA has a section titled Girls Only- check out all the cool activities and resources available at www.gogirlsonly.org
- Become a Juliette and participate individually in the Girl Scout program.
