2007-20087 FYI Troop Planner

Girl Scouts, Hornets' Nest Council is divided into 20 geographical districts. Each district is managed by a volunteer District Manager who works very closely with a GSHNC staff member.

The district team is composed of the District Manager, Registrar, District Organizers, Age Level Consultants, Training Consultant and Public Relations Consultant. Some districts have additional positions depending on the size and needs of a district.

The district team is an important source of support to the operational volunteers in their district. The district team can help with:

• Troop Registration
• Training and mentoring new leaders
• Finding troop meeting sites
• Program planning for troop meetings
• Cookie Sale and Fall Sale information
