Girl Scouts is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls-all girls-where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives: strong values, social conscience, and conviction of their own self-worth.

Girl Scouts, Hornets' Nest Council is committed to serving every girl, everywhere in our 8-county area. We need your help!  Any contribution of time, treasure or talent is needed and most appreciated. In addition to financial support of the council and its activities for members, there are numerous opportunities to become involved in Girl Scouts, both at the troop level and the council level.

Did you know that any adult, male or female, can be a Girl Scout? There are many ways to participate in the Girl Scout program and make a difference in the lives of young women ages 5-17.

Girl Scouts, Hornets' Nest Council is a United Way Agency that operates with the support of almost 5,000 adult volunteers. Girl and adult members pay $10 dues which go directly to the national organization, Girl Scouts of the USA, to support nationwide program development.
