CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Feb. 23, 2017) – As Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest…
Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest Council is among the oldest and largest girl organizations in the Carolinas. Today, the Council serves 17,000 girls and adults in eight counties in North and South Carolina. These include Anson, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Montgomery, Rowan, Stanly, Union and York, SC.
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.
On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.
I will do my best to be
honest and fair,
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
respect myself and others,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.
Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest Council has Girl Scout troops for all grade levels. Is your daughter new to Girl Scouts? No problem! Girls Scouts is open to all girls grades K-12. Troops are assigned based on school grades:
