Abrakadoodle - South Charlotte
We are an Art Education provider, we offer Art classes for the Girl Scout Art Badges., as well as Enrichment classes to help with Community project around Art. We offer STEAM classes as well, we can incorporate ART into any project!

Art Box Ceramics and Canvas
Art Box Ceramics and Canvas is a paint-you-own pottery studio located in downtown Waxhaw, NC! We specialize in painting on ceramics and canvas, plus clay hand building and wheel throwing classes. We can customize a project for your troop to help you earn badges! We have helped troops earn social etiquette, bug, ceramic and art badges. We offer events at our studio or we can come to your location for troops or regional council meetings! Our owner, Kristin Mitchell was a former Girl Scout and enjoys supporting our local troops through art activities!

Arts for All
Believing in the power of the artistic process to build self-worth and develop empathy for our neighbors, Arts for All fosters community growth through foundational arts instruction and service to teachers. Arts for All is an arts studio and gallery serving Charlotte-area teachers and students. We provide group and private instruction in music, visual arts, and theatre. We offer summer mini-camps for all ages, and we also offer special group classes or events catered to the needs of your group.

Blumenthal Performing Arts
Camp Blumenthal is an interactive theater experience geared toward students ages 8-14 which helps unpacks elements and themes of the production. These events are hosted on a Saturday evening (between the matinee and evening performance times) and the components include a musical theater workshop, an arts & craft project and a show-related discussion with a snack. The cost is a $12 add-on per student with the purchase of discounted show tickets.

Charlotte City Ballet Company
Charlotte City Ballet Company is a pre-professional, community-based, nonprofit (501(c)3) ballet company featuring classic and contemporary works, enriching the Charlotte community through public performances and outreach programs. CCBC was founded by Claudia Folts and Beverly Barwick in 1985 and is currently under the direction of Melissa Hale Coyle and Lisa Leone.

Charlotte Youth Ballet
The Charlotte Youth Ballet provides ballet students from across the greater Charlotte area the opportunity to have a one-of-a-kind experience to dance along side professionals in a full length ballet productions. We have created for the Girl Scouts a "Before the Curtain" event to meet our director and dancers and to hear what dedication it takes to be a dancer. Girl Scouts are given a free embroidered badge\patch for attending. Perfect holiday outing.

Clayworks, Inc.
Come have muddy fun with us! Earn your pottery badge while learning how STEM and pottery converge. How does pottery go from wet and malleable clay to hard ceramic that can be put in dishwasher? Clayworks, largest non-profit ceramic teaching facilities in the Southeast is located in the Oakhurst area of Charlotte. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of ceramic arts, advancement of artists and students, and enrichment of the communities it serves. Our Community Engagement Coordinator will work with your Troop Leader to coordinate a memorable hands-on workshop, lead by one of our talented teaching artists.

KidzArt
If you can dream, you can draw! KidzArt is a unique, drawing-based art enrichment program that emphasizes creativity, self-confidence, critical thinking and having fun. Weekly classes for grades K-5 are offered at various schools throughout S. Charlotte and at McDowell Arts Center in Matthews, with no prior experience needed. 

Matthews Heritage Museum
The Matthews Heritage Museum offers tours of the museum (we have a patch you can earn!). The patch looks like our logo. We also have a newly created changing exhibit on Tank Town, the African-American community that grew up alongside Matthews. Learn about the people who lived here, the jobs they worked at, and the places they worshipped.

Matthews Playhouse
Matthews Playhouse is a community based non-profit theatre committed to enriching the lives of children, adults, and families by inviting them to participate in the world of performing arts and education. Nailed It DIY Studio
We are a craft/DIY Studio that organizes and leads team building events. We have room in the studio for up to 30 guests or our “art-tenders” can come to your location, with unlimited guests, and bring all materials and know how to provide a fun, crafty party. Sew Fun! Parties and More
Sew Fun! Parties and More is a sewing studio dedicated to elevating the lost art of sewing and design and keeping it ALIVE! Sewing is made fun when it is taught in creative ways like: parties, summer camps, workshops, classes, and more. With input from a Girl Scout Troop Leader, we have designed an apron that can be used when collecting money for your Girl Scout cookies sales.

Steps N Motion Dance Studio
Steps N Motion has served the Charlotte community for 39 years! We strive each day to maintain a family atmosphere that fosters creativity, friendship, confidence, exercise, and of course FUN! Our studio is a safe place for all to be loved, accepted, and valued. We're pleased to offer FREE dance class events to Charlotte area Girl Scout Troops as a fun team building event or to earn their dance badge.

Town of Matthews Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resource Department
We offer a wide variety of cultural arts programming. Currently we are offering Girl Scout workshops one Saturday per month, where troops can come work on a pottery project in order to meet the requirements to earn their Pottery Badge.

Here's a chance to learn all about photography with Vine Images. Photography is one of the largest, most used skill worldwide. With over 1.8 billion photos uploaded to social media each day, everyone is a photographer. Learning photography allows us to not only share our life with generations to come, but it's a valuable skill in marketing businesses. Our goal is to empower young girls to learn new skills and understand they can use it for much more than taking the perfect selfie. Alzheimer's Association
The Western Carolina Chapter offers opportunities to get involved and to make a difference. The Alzheimer's Association - Western Carolina Chapter hosts thirteen walks across central and western North Carolina September 7th through November 2nd. The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Together, we can end Alzheimer's. 

Brookdale Carriage Club Memory Care
We are a memory care in Charlotte and we would like to partner with any troop of any age to do any intergenerational activity. Whether it be helping plant a garden, do a craft together, or play games and mingle. The memory care loves interacting with the younger generation. Growing up myself, I know what a huge impact and the joyful moments it was being a part of a long term care community, especially with my Grandparents out of state.

Host a donation drive to benefit Goodwill! Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide job training and employment services to job seekers in our community facing obstacles to employment such as lack of skills, experience or education, and those with criminal backgrounds seeking a second chance.

Hemophilia of North Carolina
Hemophilia of North Carolina is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of persons affected by bleeding disorders through advocacy, education, promotion of research, and delivery of supportive programs and services. We strive to raise awareness and educate people about the signs and symptoms of bleeding disorders in women and girls so they can receive appropriate and adequate treatment for their bleeding disorder.

Jade's Traveling Backpack Mission
Jade is a ten year old published author. She loves Girl Scouts! She recently earned her Bronze award with her troop! Jade is the founder of Jade’s Traveling Backpack Mission that was established in 2012. She has traveled to six continents to make a difference and learn about other cultures. She loves attending school and being an active member of Girl Scouts. She recently released her first book about being yourself no matter what. I Am Me is being shared at schools (locally and globally) to help teach lessons surrounding identity and self love. Jade is extremely passionate about empowering other kids. She would love to share her book and her mission with your troop for free. She would love to do a virtual Zoom meeting with your troop.

OneBlood
We are a non-profit blood center providing safe and affordable blood to patients in local hospitals. I was wondering if any the Girl Scout troops would be interested in hosting a blood drive this year and join us in our life-saving mission. Perhaps there is a badge some are working towards that may coincide with giving back to the community. I was a girl scout here in Charlotte when I was a kid! It was so much fun and such a great learning experience!

Promising Pages
Promising Pages is a nonprofit organization that inspires underserved children to achieve their dreams by instilling a love of reading. Fueled by studies showing that children who can't read proficiently by third grade are four times more likely to drop out of high school, Promising Pages provides innovative classroom programs and more than 100,000 free books annually, making us Charlotte's largest and most efficient distributor of up-cycled books aimed at addressing this critical and solvable community need.

Veteran Baskets - Wounded Warriors Family Support
Encouraging individuals and groups to reach out and thank our nation's aging veterans with gift baskets. The project gives girl scouts a unique opportunity to interact with older veterans who greatly appreciate not only the gift basket, but also the social interaction of the youth. <br>We are issuing grants this year for top troops and individual girl scouts who participate in the program. 

Financial Literacy

SheEO Academy
SheEO Academy now offers GIRL SCOUTS badge virtual workshops. SheEO Academy instructors help girls earn entrepreneurship, financial literacy, business, innovation badges in person and on-line. The mission of SheEO LLC is to provide tools and training to help young ladies lead and succeed in business and in life.

VicTreeFi
Complete Financial Literacy badges online with VicTreeFi! VicTreeFi is a female-founded company, dedicated to promoting financial education. The company's co-founder was a Girl Scout. VicTreeFi provides online courses that are self-paced and mobile-friendly. Courses are built around national standards for financial literacy and also fulfill the steps required to complete Girl Scout financial literacy badges. Courses take approximately 45 minutes to complete. Each badge will require approximately two VicTreeFi courses to complete all steps associated with the badge.

Girl Leadership

BOLD for Girls
BOLD: Bravery- Originality- Leadership- Determination. BOLD is a program that helps girls increase self-confidence, improve body image, deal with social media pressure, develop meaningful friendships, and use their voices to change the world! We currently offer BOLD classes virtually- class enrollment covers 7 weeks with one module per week. Our classes include discussion groups, games, crafts, music, videos, and more! Girls also receive a box delivered to their door with all the worksheets, supplies, and BOLD swag for the classes. Fun for them, and convenient for parents! We also offer BOLD workshops for troops, clubs, and sports teams! The workshop can be designed to fit your group's needs and time frame.

Claster Educational Services
Claster Educational Services guides students and families step-by-step so they are well-prepared and confident as they navigate the college admissions process. We offer workshops and one-on-one guidance on all aspects of admissions, including: high school course selection and extracurricular activities; planning for standardized tests; developing a college list; preparing for campus visits and interviews; demystifying financial aid; helping students develop strong applications and essays; and gap year planning. We are based in Washington, DC and have worked with students in more than a dozen states. 

International College Counselors
For fifteen years, the team of independent college advisors at International College Counselors has worked one-on-one with students in grades 8-12, expertly guiding them through all aspects of the often complicated and competitive college admissions process. As Director of College Advising in the Carolinas, I’d like to empower Seniors and Ambassadors (and their parents if desired) with a firm, up-to-date understanding of the process through College Admissions: Everything You Need to Know presentation (about 45 minutes) as well as worksheets to help Ambassadors complete their College Knowledge badge. Also discussed: how the Gold Award can improve chances for college admission.

The Lotus Project
The Lotus Project is a mentorship program that inspires personal growth for young women everywhere who want to feel heard whole and confident, when the pressure for perfection stifles them from being their true, unapologetic selves. The full curriculum is available, as well as personalized workshops and even guest speaking - Live or via Video Chat!

Play with Purpose Academy & Rescue
Sadly, bullying continues to be an issue in our world. Play with Purpose Pet, a local dog training rescue nonprofit located in south Charlotte, is concerned about bullying too and wants to work with you to create a more compassionate world. Why does an animal welfare organization care about bullying? Extensive studies show the connection between various forms of violence. We know that hurt people will hurt people and animals. Inspired by the needs in our community and guided by the principles of social-emotional learning, Wayside Waifs, a Missouri-based animal rescue, created No More Bullying! to break the perpetual cycle of human and animal abuse. 

PrettyPonytails
PrettyPonytails is 501c3 nonprofit community organization. Our mission is to empower at-risk and under-served girls 1-18 years old by providing haircare kits to boost self-esteem and confidence. We offers services to ensure that young girls feel good about their appearance, self esteem and confidence. We believe that when girls feel good about themselves, they will perform better in school and social settings to help them succeed and excel academically, socially and in the future.

Stuff a Bear
The girls can earn a badge that I provide for stuffing an animal. I bring everything they will need and my super stuffer machine. It is a great event the children will love it.

Healthy Living & Sports

Adventure Air Sports
Adventure Air Sports is a full-scale action park that provides incredible experiences to jumpers, groups, and teams! Our world-class attractions include: the largest Ninja Course in the Carolinas, Zipline, Dodgeball, Basketball, Trapeze, Trampoline Park, and our brand new VALO jump! We also have party room rentals and catering options available for any group looking to take their celebration to the next level!

American Academy of Dermatology
The American Academy of Dermatology is excited to share our Good Skin Knowledge Program, which was developed in 2013 with the goal of educating youth about skin, hair and nail conditions to eradicate stigma and raise self-esteem. In addition to the online lesson plans, troop can schedule virtual programs with a medical student by contacting us on our website.

American Kennel Club
This is an activity that will be done with a guide at an AKC dog show. The Girl Scouts will learn about the different breeds of dogs, responsible dog ownership, and more. This is a hands-on-learning experience that emphasizes the importance of being a responsible dog owner and good citizen. Each participant will receive a free show admission, free patch, and free teacher guide.

B. Well: Live Consciously
B.Well offers interactive workshops to encourage girls to become healthy, loving, and strong young women. With so many competing messages on what it means to be a desirable girl, I support girls in creating clear visions on how they envision healthy and loving futures. I am prepared to offer dynamic workshops on self-esteem and self-love, speaking up and using our voices, creating college/career action plans, healthy relationships with other girls, and honoring our bodies through healthy choices. Cano Family Services is a local community mental health agency that provides social emotional support services. These include individual/family therapy, empowerment groups, camps and leadership skills workshops.

The Harris YMCA offers Babysitter Training classes for ages 11-15 years old. Students learn how to supervise children, recognize safety hazards, handle first-aid situations, play appropriate games &amp; activities with children, change diapers, carry out parents' instructions and discuss job responsibilities. Training also includes Basic Infant/Child CPR.

iFLY Indoor Skydiving
Your Girl Scouts will get fired up about math and physics when they see it come to life in our state-of-the-art wind tunnel. Our STEM program inspires and educates students through an immersive, educational program where they first learn science and technology, and then defy gravity by flying. It’s so much more than a lesson – It’s an enriching day of fun and learning that they’ll remember the rest of their lives!

Juice Bar Fort Mill
Juice Bar Fort Mill would love to host local Girl Scout troops to discuss healthy eating and nutrition. We will educate what plants are used in our fresh juices and smoothies and the benefits of those fruits and vegetables on our bodies. In addition to the "veggication" lesson, we will allow the troops to "create their own smoothie" and get hands on experience.

Kind Karma Yoga & Holistic Center
We offer Kind Karma Kids Yoga, age related meditation, breathing techniques, (GST) Gong & Sound Therapy and much more  Kind Karma® Kids Yoga incorporates simple and easy-to-learn yoga postures and movements, and breathing methods. The children also get to experience playing the healing instruments, such as the gongs, crystal bowls and others. These practices are mindful learning tools for children to develop healthy coping skills and teach positive ways to channel energy, emotions and feelings, and to cope with uncomfortable, painful, conflicted or turbulent life situations.  As well, these holistic modalities are proven to have a profound effect on children by increasing their self-esteem, self-image, increasing positive thinking and self-talk, self-empowerment, focus and concentration.

Queen City Darts Association
Queen City Darts Association is hoping to increase the number of youth dart players in Charlotte and surrounding areas. We will bring all equipment necessary to teach kids to play steel tip darts. We hold youth tournaments locally, and there are numerous opportunities to eventually compete both nationally and internationally. 

Ready Prep Eat
Healthy Hands Cooking is the perfect opportunity for children ages 3-18 to learn nutrition and cooking skills that foster healthy lifestyles in an intimate learning experience that is both fun and empowering. Our certified mobile instructors can teach in any environment, while equipped with all of the tools they need to help fight against obesity and make a difference in the lives of its students, their parents and families Students will learn how to make healthy snacks, breakfasts, lunches and dinners along with nutrition, food preparation, gardening, and healthier habits through hands-on STEM, STEAM and STEAM-based activities. More than just recipes, we offer educational materials developed by an army of wellness professionals, teachers, nutritionists, and registered dieticians that support common core learning standards including science, technology, engineering, culinary arts, math and medical (health) that are used in the classroom, summer camps, cooking clubs and after school programs. Tender Delights Cooking Academy
Tender Delights Cooking Academy is a nutritional mobile cooking class that can help troops obtain 6 of their badges. I will work directly with the troop leader to help the troops obtain the goals that you select. Class Badge Themes include Snacking, Simple Meals, Trying New Cuisine, Eating for Health and Beauty, The Benefits of Eating Locally, and Casual Dinner Party.

The Core Sports Performance
Our foundation’s goal is to equip each individual with the necessary tools they will need to be the best on and off the field of play. In addition to providing top notch physical training, we work to build the intangible traits of world-class athletes: mental toughness, confidence, leadership, and character. The Core Sports Performance began from a passion to empower athletes of all ages to become leaders and agents of change.

Thrive CPR
Thrive CPR provides CPR and first aid class to all. This would be a great skill to have as a troop leader as well as a great learning experience for girls scouts to earn badges. Urban Air Adventure Park Cornelius
Whether a family outing, team event, birthday party or just for fun, Urban Air is the place for adventure! Urban Air is perfect for children, teens, and adults with over 11 attractions for you to Activate Awesome! With all the different attractions in one great place, we are a great option for team building events, group outings, fundraisers, team banquets and all types of social gatherings. Youth Style Fitness
Youth Style fitness was founded to empower the overall total wellness of youth ages 6-18. Our mission is to foster an awareness of healthy eating and exercise to empower a healthy youth development and wellness. Our vision is to give youth the skills and knowledge to develop and uphold healthy practices to carry into adult hood. We offer a 60 minute workout that includes a warm up, condition phase, and cool down. During the course of the workout, youth will complete exercises enhancing upper and lower body strength as well as core strength. Youth will also participate in fun games and activities involving physical activity while also promoting friendly competition. Nutritional tips/information will be offered during the cool down phase.

Outdoor Adventure

Buffalo Zoo
Join us virtually at the Buffalo Zoo for a wild and exciting Girl Scout badge program! Each program includes animal demonstrations, live views of exhibit animals, and badge related discussions and activities. We have several badges that individual girls can sign up for on our website or we can schedule a special program just for your troop.

Cabarrus County Active Living and Parks
Active Living and Parks uses fitness, wellness and education to improve the quality of life for Cabarrus County residents. The County operates four parks and two active living centers, each with unique amenities. Kings Mountain National Military Park
Thomas Jefferson called it "The turn of the tide of success." The battle of Kings Mountain, fought October 7th, 1780, was an important American victory during the Revolutionary War. The battle was the first major patriot victory to occur after the British invasion of Charleston, SC in May 1780. The park preserves the site of this important battle, along with nearly 4,000 acres of beautiful mixed hardwood forest in the upcountry of South Carolina.

Orvis Charlotte
Orvis Charlotte offers our FREE introduction to Fly Fishing classes every weekend through the summer. Limited to 18 people per class, this two-hour course covers the basics of casting, fighting fish, rigging, knot tying and fly selection. We provide all of the equipment and generally host this class at our store at Phillips Place Shopping Center, but can also accommodate special groups in off-site locations. Our Store Manager, Mary Griffin, and Fishing Manager, Trey Oliver teach these classes. Both avid anglers, Mary and Trey are excited to share their love of fly fishing and to encourage conservation and outdoor engagement. Rescue Ranch
Looking for a fun way to earn a Girl Scout badge? Love animals? Then Rescue Ranch Scout Programs are for you and your troop! Each program is 2 hours long and includes at least three hands-on animal encounters and activities. Programs meet most, if not all, badge requirements. We offer Girl Scout badge days, or schedule your troop to come for a private visit (minimum of 20 participants required). 

Thrifty Adventures
Thrifty Adventures is the most diverse guide company in North Carolina, providing trips all over NC, SC and TN! Willis Observatory has 5 premium telescopes, including a solar telescope for daytime viewing. Wing Haven
Just off the Greenway and nestled in an urban neighborhood of Charlotte, Wing Haven is comprised of three gardens: Wing Haven Garden &amp; Bird Sanctuary, SEED Wildlife Garden &amp; Children's Garden, and Elizabeth Lawrence House &amp; Garden. We offer:

Charlotte Reptile & Amphibian Rescue
Looking for a unique Animal or Pet program for your troop? We are available to provide programs about reptiles &amp; amphibians in general, and/or caring for reptiles as pets. Typically 4-6 animals are brought to the program to introduce girls to a few different species and try to remove the fear some many initially have. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit established for the purpose of providing veterinary care and re-homing services for unwanted reptiles & amphibians in the greater Charlotte area. Our rescue also welcomes volunteers to help with feeding animals and cleaning cages. We normally are caring for 65-80 reptiles at any given time. We will travel free of charge up to 25 miles (one way) from zip code 28216. Longer distances may be arranged - please call to discuss.

If you’re looking for an extra adventure, try our Sleep Under the Sea! After the Aquarium has closed its doors for the night and everyone has gone home, we invite you to join us for an exciting night of adventure and exploration. All sleepovers include admission to the Aquarium at 6pm on the day of your sleepover as well as the entire next day and entrance to all presentations, a bedtime snack, breakfast, guided tours and activities, and a sleeping spot in front of one of our magnificent gallery windows. Girl Coders
Girl Coders inspires girls to take the very first step towards their STEM journey. No coding experience is necessary for the troop leaders or Girl Scouts. Each of our workshops is a one-time, two-hour event that could by easily hosted during a regular troop meeting. The curriculum, available for a variety of popular and widely-used coding languages and tools, is designed to be accessible and self-contained. After completing a workshop, all girls receive a free embroidered patch as a physical reminder of her accomplishment in completing a coding education program.

Mathnasium of Huntersville is your neighborhood math-only resource and learning center. We help kids in grades 2nd - 12th understand math by teaching in math the way that makes sense to them. As a Girl Scout Partner, we strive to assist scouts in their pursuit of STEM and math-related awards and badges. Pediatric Hair Solutions
Pediatric Hair Solutions is offering Girl Scout troops a hands on experience learning the science of entomology, specifically the study of pediculosis capitis, also known as head lice. This science module would include learning the lifecycle of the louse, working on a microscope with samples of the bug at each stage of its lifecycle, learning how the bug eats, breathes and moves from head to head, as well as the chemical and non chemical treatments for treating head lice.

QCRA YETI Robotics
QCRA uses STEM programs to help youth learn life and work place skills in teamwork, technology, business, and communication. We built FIRST Zones for youth and teams to meet, learn, build and exchange ideas early engagement of youth from various backgrounds, including traditionally underrepresented populations. Reptiles 101
Reptiles 101 is a hands on, fun, educating experience learning about Reptiles with an emphases on snakes. We learn about mostly indigenous species but I also bring some larger snakes. Its my goal that students, young and old, overcome the conditioned fear of Reptiles and begin to see the beauty in these creatures. The cost is $200.00 per group of up to thirty students and the class can be from one hour to one hour and a half. I am flexible and don't mind staying to answer questions afterwards.

The Car Chick
The Car Chick is an automotive expert, professional car shopper, writer, speaker, radio & television host and champion race car driver. She partners with Girl Scout troops to help young women earn their Car Care Badge through a comprehensive workshop that covers basic car care and safe driving concepts in a hands-on environment.
