CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Feb. 23, 2017) – As Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest…
Brownies is where things come together. Girls begin to shape their own adventures, grow through hands-on experiences and come together as a team. In second or third grade, Brownies learn about themselves, their families, friends and the world around them through fun projects and activities.
Brownies earn patches for learning new things, complete leadership journeys, explore fun and interesting places, and take part in the cookie and the fall product programs. Brownies can grow through activities that emphasize fun and friendship! Learn more about upcoming events and programs for your Girl Scout Brownie.
Brownies build self-awareness and interaction with each other and the outside world through a choice of three Journey books.
Girl Scout Brownies display their troop number, awards and badges on their traditional Brownie vests or sashes. The Girl’s Guide To Girl Scouting comes with a detailed diagram showing where to place badges on vests or sashes.
