Daisies, Brownies and Juniors, join us for a scenic hike through the wooded trails of Latta Nature Preserve, ending at a beautiful lake overlook. Along the way, you'll learn what to bring, what to wear, and how to stay safe on the trail, for yourself and your fellow hikers. As we walk, we will also discover the plants, animals and hidden treasures that make the forest come alive. It's the perfect mix of exploration, education and outdoor fun for Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies and Juniors!
Location: Buzzard Rock Trail, Latta Nature Preserve, 6345 Sample Rd. Huntersville, NC (Follow Sample Road into the Nature Preserve.
(We will meet in the Buzzard Rock Trail parking lot, which will be on the right on the right, past the Raptor Center and Gar Creek Access Road, but before the Historic Latta Plantation)
