Our camp is proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), the national standard for quality and safety in camping. This accreditation means our programs, staff, and facilities meet or exceed over 200 industry standards in areas like health, safety, and program quality.

Join us for an exciting summer at our premier overnight resident camp, located on the expansive 800+ acre Dale Earnhardt Environmental Campus at Oak Springs in Statesville, NC. We’re thrilled to welcome both members and non-members, rising 2nd through 8th graders, and the re-introduction of our Counselor-In-Training Program (CIT) for rising 9th-12th graders!

Why Summer Camp?
Camp is a pathway for girls to experience the Girl Scout program. Girl Scouts is girl driven and Girls have the choice of how they want to participate. Our primary mission for Summer Camp is the same as the overall mission of our organization - we are building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. In addition to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, we will strive to help campers build essential life skills, such as:
Physical, mental and spiritual well-being
Democratic living, team work and conflict resolution.
Leadership, confidence and independence.
Interpersonal relationships and community
A sense of accomplishment.
Awareness of the scope and responsibility to conserve the natural world.

What You'll Learn at Camp
At Girl Scout camp, the possibilities are endless and super fun! You can try activities like archery, where you'll build focus and patience, or get creative with arts and crafts, making amazing projects with your own hands. If you love adventure, you can go canoeing or try out corcl boating, which teaches you teamwork and how to stay calm under pressure. There's also fishing, swimming in the lake, and climbing the Phoenix Tower—each one helping you get stronger, more confident, and learn new skills. As you explore nature, you'll connect with the outdoors and learn about the environment around you at our 800+ acre private camp property outside of Statesville, North Carolina. And after a day full of adventure, gathering around a campfire with friends to share stories and songs makes all the hard work worth it! Girl Scout camp is not just about fun; it’s about discovering new talents, building confidence, and making memories that last forever.
