Join us for a fun-filled day at beautiful Morrow Mountain State Park as we celebrate the great outdoors, community, and the spirit of Girl Scouting! Girl Scouts Love State Parks is a special event designed for Girl Scouts of all levels and their families to connect with nature, explore new adventures, and enjoy quality time together. From scenic nature hikes and hands-on crafts to family-friendly games and canoeing on the lake, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're paddling through calm waters or relaxing with a picnic under the trees, this day promises to be a memorable experience for all.

- Girl Scout Loves State Park patch
- Guided nature walks and wildlife discovery
- Canoeing (with Park Ranger & Staff support)
- Outdoor crafts and STEM activities
- Family lawn games and team-building fun
- Environmental education stations
- S'mores Station at the Fire Pit enjoy a classic treat and warm conversation
- Snacks provided throughout the day
- Community picnic space , bring your blanket and lunch!

Before registering, please note the following:
- Each canoe holds up to 12 individuals, with two spots reserved for a Park Ranger and one Park Staff member.
- Two canoes will be on the lake at the same time.
- 20 registration slots are available, per time slot.
- Life jackets are required for all participants and must be worn at all times while in the canoe.
*Detailed information will be sent to all registered participants once program registration closes, which is four days prior to the event, to assist with planning*
This event encourages Girl Scouts and their families to unplug, connect with one another, and fall in love with the beauty and adventure of the outdoors. We can't wait to see you at Staton Park!
Cancellation Policy
Participants who make a cancellation/refund request 30 days or more before an event will receive a refund of 100% of registration fees. * Participants who make a cancellation/refund request 15 days or more before an event will receive a refund of 50% of registration fees. * Participants who make a cancellation/refund request less than 15 days before an event, no refund will be issued. * Refunds will not be given for programs or events under $5.00. * Refunds for family emergency or serious illness will only be processed if notification is made before the event and is followed up within two weeks by a written refund request. For serious illness, a doctor's written note is required within two weeks after the program. A full refund will be provided. * All requests must be sent to customercare@hngirlscouts.org * No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
