Staff-led Troops are led by trained Girl Scout staff members, called Community Development Specialists, who help girls reach their full potential through activities in various schools, community centers, and churches. Some barriers girls face to participating in Girl Scouts are lack of financial resources, role models, and transportation.
Girls will have the opportunity to take part in engaging, challenging, and fun activities to earn badges and awards. We provide the Girl Scout Leadership Experience that includes but not limited to exploring STEM, entrepreneurship, mental health and wellbeing, social capital, social and emotional development, and workforce development. As well as, getting outdoors, and doing community service projects.
