As a parent or caregiver, your involvement can make all the difference in your Girl Scout's journey. While troop leaders guide and mentor the group, your encouragement and support at home provide the foundation she needs to grow with confidence. Be encouraging, stay engaged, communicate with your girl scout, and support her independence.

Yes! Every Girl Deserves the Chance to Be a Girl Scout

At Girl Scouts, we believe that every girl—no matter her background or circumstances—should have the opportunity to discover her strengths, build lifelong friendships, and grow into a leader.

That’s why our council is proud to offer financial aid for membership fees, uniforms, programs, and even camp. We never want cost to be a barrier for a girl who wants to join.

Yes, you can help without leading! You can become a Troop Volunteer, Episodic Volunteer or if your Troop allows parents to have a parent committee they can join the parent committee.
