Girl Scouts will explore the Gantt Museum and Culture Center through a guided tour, learning about the artists, their work, and the stories behind it. They will then participate in a hands-on workshop led by a teaching artist, creating their own artwork inspired by what they saw. The experience encourages creativity, self-expression, collaboration, observation, and discussion skills. Through this program, Girl Scouts will gain a deeper understanding of Black art and culture, connect with the artist stories, and enjoy a fun, interactive way to engage with art.
