Earn A Voter Girl Patch!
How do you become a civic leader? Learn from our elected
officials about being a leader in your community. Debate issues and
participate in a mock election. Cast your ballot on the official
voting machines with the help of the Board of Elections. This program
helps girls build confidence,develop leadership skills,and imagine
themselves as future leaders in public service, all while learning how
our democratic republic functions.
We encourage Troop Leaders and Parents to attend with their
Girl Scouts.
Lunch is provided
The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan civic organization
encouraging informed and active participation in government.
