Join Our Summer Camp Staff!
Spend your summer making a difference at Girl Scout Overnight Camp. Our camp staff gain valuable leadership experience while helping girls build confidence, try new adventures, and create lifelong memories. With competitive pay, free meals, on-site training, and a supportive team environment, you’ll grow your skills while working on a beautiful 800+ acre property filled with outdoor adventures, lake activities, and high-energy programs. No prior Girl Scout experience is required - just bring your enthusiasm, leadership, and love for making a positive impact.
Why Work at Girl Scout Overnight Camp?
Basic Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older
Enjoy working with children and being part of a team
Willingness to live and work at camp during the summer season
Positive attitude, leadership mindset, and strong communication skills
Ability to participate in outdoor activities and an active camp schedule
Lifeguard, health, or food safety certifications are helpful for certain roles (training may be provided for some positions)
No prior Girl Scout experience needed
Positions We Are Hiring For
Camp Counselors & Support Staff
Lead activities, supervise campers, and help create a positive, safe camp experience while serving as a role model for girls.
- Career Connection: Education, child development, social work, leadership, recreation management.
Food Service Team
Assist with meal prep, serving, and kitchen operations to support daily nutrition for campers and staff.
- Career Connection: Hospitality, culinary arts, food service management, customer service.
Lifeguards
Ensure camper safety during all aquatic activities and help maintain safe waterfront operations.
- Career Connection: Public safety, emergency management, aquatic instruction, fitness & recreation.
Camp Health Team
Support camper health by administering medications, coordinating care, and maintaining health and safety protocols.
- Career Connection: Nursing, EMT/paramedic pathways, kinesiology, health sciences, healthcare administration.
