Join us for an engaging Movie Night with Akeelah and the Bee! Girl Scouts will watch Akeelah as she overcomes challenges, builds confidence, and works hard to achieve her goals. After the movie, participants will take part in a hands-on "Word Power Reflection" activity, where they identify their own strengths, set personal goals, and decorate a bookmark or page with words that inspire them. Through discussion, reflection, and group sharing, girls will explore perseverance, communication, teamwork, and self-expression.
Light refreshments will be provided, making this a fun, interactive, and memorable experience focused on life skills and personal growth.

Additionally, please note that all Girl Scouts must be signed in by an authorized adult. A valid photo ID will be required to ensure the safety of all participants. For safety reasons, Girl Scouts will not be released to anyone not listed on the form or without proper identification.
