Girl Scouts are invited to cheer on participants of the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at First Ward Park in support of breast cancer patients, survivors, thrivers and caregivers.
Girl Scouts will decorate signs to hold along the 3-mile route to encourage and celebrate the breast cancer survivors, thrivers, caregivers, family and friends! Girls and troops will be placed at designated stops to help direct participants through route turns.
Girls participating as Route Marshalls/Cheerers will also receive a box of sidewalk chalk to be used to decorate their area of the sidewalk/road for the walk. Pictures and messages are asked to be positive and encouraging for walkers.
