Step behind the scenes of Halloween Haunt and discover the artistry that transforms SCarowinds into one of the region's premier Halloween destinations.
During Scare School, Girl Scouts will meet the talented SCarowinds team and explore the creative process behind designing haunted attractions. Learn how haunted mazes are designed, creepy props are created, costumes are crafted, special effects makeup is applied, and performers bring unforgettable Halloween characters to life. Along the way, participants will discover the creativity, teamwork, and career opportunities behind one of the region's most popular seasonal events.
Choose the experience that's right for your troop:
* Scare School - Includes all educational stations and a guided walkthrough of one of SCarowinds' haunted houses.
* No-Boo Scare School - A family-friendly option designed for younger Girl Scouts or those who prefer a less spooky experience. Participants will explore the creative process behind Halloween entertainment while enjoying a look at SCarowinds' family-friendly seasonal attractions.

9:30 AM-12:00 PM
Check-in and patch pick-up at the tent across from North Gate Admissions Services. Any patches or program instructions not picked up by noon will be available at Guest Services.
12:40 PM
Gather in front of the Plaza Stage with your assigned group.
12:45 PM
A Scare School leader will escort your group to the first station and guide you through each interactive rotation.
3:00 PM
Scare School concludes. Enjoy the remainder of your day experiencing everything SCarowinds has to offer!
