Olive Gordon, a 12-year-old Girl Scout with the Hornets' Nest Council in Charlotte, has set a new record by selling an impressive 12,801 boxes of cookies in one season. Olive surpassed her previous personal best of 8,700 boxes and broke the North Carolina state record.
As part of the Hornets' Nest Council, Olive credits her success to the power of simply asking everyone she meets to support her cookie sales. Through her Girl Scout journey, she has learned valuable life skills and aims to continue building on them.
Looking ahead, Olive plans to sell 5,000 boxes next season, allowing her to focus more on spending time with friends. Girl Scout cookie sales will kick off on December 15th.
