Charlotte, NC — May 17, 2026

WCNC Charlotte highlighted the benefits of summer day camps for children, exploring how camp experiences help kids learn, grow and connect with others. Summer camp gives children opportunities to build independence, develop new skills and make lasting friendships through hands-on activities and outdoor adventures. Girl Scout camps offer girls a chance to explore the outdoors, try new things and build confidence in a supportive environment.

Watch the WCNC segment to learn more about the benefits of summer camp!
