Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest Council is excited to host Girl Scouts Love State Parks, a fun-filled day of outdoor adventure and community connection at Morrow Mountain State Park in Albemarle, N.C. on Saturday, September 13th.
Designed for Girl Scouts of all levels and their families, the event celebrates the beauty of North Carolina’s state parks while offering girls and their loved ones the opportunity to discover new adventures, enjoy nature, and make lasting memories together.
“Girl Scouts has always been about helping girls build courage, confidence, and character through exploration and discovery,” said Tayuanee Dewberry, CEO of Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest Council. “By partnering with Morrow Mountain State Park, we’re giving our Girl Scouts and their families a chance to unplug, connect, and fall in love with the outdoors in a truly hands-on way.”
